    This is a two-part world map. The map side is a world map in the classic National Geographic cartographic style with inset maps showing the Eastern and Western Hemisphere physical geography, Religions of the World, and Population maps . The reverse-side is titled Endangered Earth and pinpoints the growing threats to our planet with a large color map showing global carbon dioxide. Included are insets showing global ice-age vegetation 18,000 years ago and in 1988. This is an important map in the study of the transition from the world we inherited and the one we have altered.
    Map is approximately 29” x 45”.
    The National Geographic is known for it's fine maps & detailed information.
