    Description

    Beautiful round of petrified Cherry wood. From the classic Airport Dig at McDermitt, straddling the Oregon-Nevada border. It comes out of one of the finest collections of petrified wood in the Northwest! Perfect, liquid, glassy, mirror polish. Preservation is perfect, and is wonderful under the microscope. Beautiful agate in shades of brown and chocolate. 7 1/2 x 7 x 5/16". The back has been fiber glassed for support and durability. I have been collecting wood for 30 years, and this is a beauty. Looks like it was cut from a tree yesterday! Ships USPS priority.
