Description

This is simply an elegant (one of a kind) handmade sculpted carving of a white Stallion, of the Camargue or Gardiens of southern France. The detail is sharp, exacting, and accurate, even under magnification. The horse is about 8 inches tall. The carving was made by a 5th generation wood carver from the island of Bali.
Look at the ears and eyes of the horse the eyes are completely life-like. The nose and nostrils look as though he is breathing in front of you. The horse's mane is flowing and with great detail. There is just a hint of color in the horse's mane. The wood has lovely color and rich grain, especialy the base. The horse looks like he has simply formed out of a tree.
