Description:
A beautiful purple with golden luster Carnival Glass deep footed and ruffled or crimped bowl. The bowl has raised alternating textured and smooth rays emanating from its center and extending to the base of the ruffled rim. The toothed rim is ruffled or crimped and smooth in texture. This pattern is known as Steeple Rrays or Stippled Rays. The bowl has a round foot and the exterior is undecorated. This beautiful piece has a very nice gold iridescent look over the purple colored glass on the inside but not on the outside or the foot. The piece is of solid glass construction. Measures ~9 3/4" diameter on top, ~4" diameter at the foot, and ~ 3" at its heighest point. The bowl weighs almost 1 1/2 pounds.

Raised underlined N in the center of the bowl on the inside.
Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece:
This is definitely a beautiful and colorful piece with vivid colors and well defined pattern.
Condition:
It is in very good condition with no cracks, hairlines, or repairs. It does have the normal defects carnival glass normally displays such as mold lines and a few air bubbles trapped in the glass. It also has some defects of the making in the toothed rim, where some of the teeth are connected as opposed of being separate. In addition, the piece has several small chips to the tip of some of the teeth of the rim.
Because of the condition issues mentioned, we are selling this bowl "AS IS" with no reserve and at a low price.
