The "Finest" model 405-BA is the Strauch top-of-the-line model. Comes complete with th Brush sttachment and tool accessories.
FEATURES:
*Chain drive mechanism is far superior to belt drives, providing positive non-slipping action while carding.
* 5:1 drum ratio. You obtain more carding action per revolution, quickly producing a beautiful, well blended batt. One to two
passes are usually sufficient.
* Batt produced is approximately 8" wide x 22" long
* The tall frame allows the handle to swing free of the table surface.
* Designed to handle ALL fibers including merino, llama, alpaca, cashmere, cotton blend,  dog hair...
*This manual model can later, if desired, be upgraded to a motorized carder.
* Accessory tools include:
Knuckle-Saving-Batt-Pick removes the batt without damage to the equipment or the user.
Doffer Brush thoroughly and easily cleans any residual fibers trom the carding drum
