Pair (2) Vintage NORTHWOOD Russet Iridescent Stretch Glass Candlesticks #657.
This is a beautiful pair of iridescent candlesticks from my family. I don’t know age for sure but would guess in 1920 range or earlier.
the pair are in very good vintage condition. One has a pin head size nick on the edge of one of the columns. Please see pictures 7,8,9,for best view of this imperfection. I placed a dime to the left of the nick in 1 picture to give some size comparison.
I don’t see any nicks on the base or upper rim. The base is a hexagon with a trumpet shaped columned body.
The colors are browns greens golds and purples and look different depending on the light with the iridescent finish.
the pair do not have a makers mark that I noted but in my research I located the Northwood Company and it’s 657 style, patterns and colors.
They measure 8 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches wide across base.
