Vintage G. A Olsson Akta Dalahemslojd Dala Horse w/Label

Description

A symbol of Sweden, this Dala horse was hand crafted and hand painted in the county of Dalana in the studios of Grannas A. Olsson who has been in business since 1922 and one of the best.  This horse is painted in the traditional colors of red horse decorated with yellow, green, blue and white.  This sturdy little horse measures 4" high and 3.5" long. The makers paper label is still on the bottom and translates as Entirely handcrafted Maker G.A. Olsson in Nusnas, Parish of Mora, Sweden.  I find no flaws in this delightful collectible but it could use a gentle cleaning.
